BC245XLT Scanning Problem

I have my 245xlt setup with 10 banks, and one of the banks (#2) is programmed on a trunk. When I turn the scanner on (after it's been turned off for a while), the trunk starts in search mode rather than scan mode, forcing me to press SCAN every time I turn it on. If I turn it off then on again (after only a few seconds) it stays in trunk scan mode. In the past, to my knowledge, it didn't do this. The scanner is pretty old, but still works great. Is there a way to make the trunk start in scan mode and not in search?

I've heard of this happening on the 780s, not on the 245. But since they're both from roughly the same era, I'd say it's an old scanner - and it's easy to put back into ID Scan mode.

I haven't heard of any fixes for this, I'm afraid 73 Mike
