MY 245XLT WHEN TRUNCKING TULSA SMART ZONE IT IS ALWAYS RE SEARCHING FOR THE CONTROL CH. ALL CHANNELS ARE IN SCANNER IN CORRECT ORDER AND I UPDATED THE TALKGROUPS BUT SOMETIMES IT WILL STOP ON AN 800 CHANNEL LIKE 856.9875 THIS IS IN MY SCANNER ALREADY AS A TRUNCKING FREQ. DOES NOT SHOW UP LIKE A TRUNCKING ID LIKE 38248 OR SO ON ANY ADVISE

It sounds like your scanner has lost the control channel and is searching for it again. When I had a my 235xlt it would do that when I got out of the city or into fringe areas where the signal was weaker, and lost the signal, then it would display the freqs. as it was serching for the control channel. You might try and decrease your squelch, they say that it has no effect in the trunking mode but when you get in a weak signal area adjust your squelch to the maximum and see if you lose the signal, mine did.
