Hello, I just recieved my radio in the mail today afer 13 days of waiting. Very nice radio! I have a problem gettin the ctcss/dcs search to work. I do have it on under the menu but when people talk that I know have a tone, nothing comes up. I am using the directions on page 81 in the manual. If I am missing something will someone please let me know? Thanks in advance for the help!

Nevermind I did more reading. But it does bring me to another question. Can you use the search within a channet for tones to store them when they are found?

Indirectly. Set it to SEARCH. When the tone is found, hit ENTER. That will take you to the channel edit menu. Go to the CTCSS/CDCSS settings, set the correct mode, then set the tone it found. Unfortunately, there is no simple (just hit enter) like there is with the PRO-96.
