Is there a way to get the Uniden BC246T to decode trunked data streams via software from either the headphone jack or perhaps the computer control jack?

From my reading on the forums it looks like in order to monitor trunked data streams with the software/freeware floating around, you will need a discriminator tap or data slicer, etc.

Wasn't sure if the stock headphone jack or computer control jack would allow such a thing. Wanted to make sure I had my information correct.

I can't imagine there's much room to work with inside a BC246T anyways.

Thanks!
