We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. Hello.

I've got a PRO-95 and need to buy a new scanner because of the rebanding in the Sacramento area. I've been reading some of the previous posts and I know the BC396T will be compatible...

But, will a BC246T be compatible with the new digital system in Sacramento county?

Thanks in Advance!!!

Now that I know that.....

Would anyone know of a store in the greater Sacramento area that sells the BCD396T?

Thanks Again!

www.bearcatscanner.com is a local business that has some of the best prices around. Since you live in Sac you might be able to call them and arrange to meet them to buy it. I know several other people here in Sac that have done that.

Fry's has the 396 (sometimes), but their prices suck. They want $580 for it.
