BC246T - Limit # of talkgroups?

Anyone know off hand how many talkgroups can be setup per system and/or group?

I'll be programming via ARC246.. Please advise if there are limitations there as well.

I've never tested this nor looked it up, but I do know the 246t has dynamic memory. From my understanding of the dynamic memory, you should be able to use as many talkgroups as you wish (Until you fill the memory of the scanner of course).

Reason I ask is that I just got ahold of an all-inclusive list of talkgroups for my county - needless to say, there's a TON more than I originally had.. Guess I'll have to backup my scanner and experiment!

200 Talk Groups per system in any combination of up to 20 groups (i.e. 1 group of 200, 10 groups of 20, 1 group of 99 and 1 group of 101...)

people in general should be happy with the 10 groups of 20, just like the pros i guess.
