BC246T parts?

I recently sent in my BC246T for repair due to injuries sustained from an airbag impacting it. (ouch!!) It's finally on its way back to me and I was just curious about the parts that were replaced on it. According to the Uniden Repair status page, here's the vague list of parts that were used:

CHASSIS
J501
Q4
Q5
TOP CASE
VR1

Anyone have a clue what each one of these are for? I don't have a schematic or service manual for this radio. Thanks!

Cassis is what the boards, jacks, and controls are connected to. Metal frame.

J501 headphone jack.

Q4,5 sound like transistors associated with the jack or surface mount damage in that location.

Top case - where the antenna jack, earphone jack, and VR1 are located.

VR1- Scroll Control

Thanks for the response!! It still seemed to work after the accident, but the BNC connector was all bent/pushed up. Figured I'd go ahead and get it fixed in case I want to sell it to fund a 396.
