BC246T Problem?

I noticed there are a lot of posts regarding the 246T, I have not been able to read them all. I just figured this would be the quickest way to an answer. Sorry for the laziness.
Are all these posts just because it is new to the market and people are just trying to figure it out?, Or is there a problem with it?

Ya, there's a serious error. My laziness prevents me from describing it and its simple fix here. Guess you're back to reading the threads like a responsible member of the forum.

There isn't really a problem - it's just that it's a new TYPE of scanner and many people aren't used to working without banks. It seems that if you take away the banks and channel numbers, people just don't know what to do with it. :lol:

No banks and channel numbers make everything so much easier, more personal touch and customization. Personally, I really like the way the BC246T is set up. It couldn't be any better. Congradulations Uniden on a great product!

Yup - I'll do my level best to never buy another banked trunking scanner. The difference isn't so important if you just have a ton of conventional systems, but for a trunker - there is no other way. I'm specifically NOT going to buy a 785 because I'm waiting for a mobile 246 or similar.
