Hello,
It's been a while since I programmed my BC-246T Uniden portable scanner and the software is on a computer which has long since died. My question is: Is there any way to alphabetize the channels within a system without using the software? I have the systems set up as Police/Fire/EMS/Public Works/Misc/Prisons.
My problems is that the channels within the systems are all over the place, with a town's main police channel in the beginning, and its secondary channel about 14 channels down. I'm looking to get all the towns in alphabetical order so it would be easier to scroll manually, and to monitor. Not to mention I'd love to have them in some kind of logical order, not just random towns all over the place.
THANK YOU for any help you can provide. I'm not a big "programmer" per se, but I can follow simple directions. I tried looking at the manual to no help, which I found here: Easier to Read BC246T Scanner Manual
