I recently have encountered a significant decline in the sensitivity of my BC246T's receiving capacity. I know it is not a squelch problem or PL tone issue nor is it an antenna problem as I have tried several different types of handheld and mobile antennas with little to no improvement. My scanner is several years old and spends most of the day (and night) turned on. I also do switch from handheld to mobile antenna several times a day and am wondering if it could be a problem with the antenna connection itself from overuse. Has anyone experienced this same problem or know a possible solution? Thanks
