From all I've been reading, you did fine buying ARC250. C'mon over to the BC250 and software forums at Strong Signals - registration is free. The URL is:

The software is great!! I would recommend it for everyone whom has the scanner for the software!! Help from Butel leaves alot to be desired!! If you dont buy it from them personally they wont even try to help!! They send you back to the dealer where you bought it!!

The biggest problem I have is the freqs listed everywhere arent the ones there useing!! They might be the ones listed for them to use by the FCC but not many are correct!!

What Im trying to do is set up OSP for the whole state in one scanner and have it work wherever in the state you happen to be!! I know it sounds far fetched, but I think it can be done!!

Have you visited the RRDB site for OSP? A ton of work has went into the listings there. Be to let us know if there is something missing. :wink:

Gommert is a frequent visitor to the Strong Signals site I mentioned earlier; and there's a ARC250 Yahoo group where you can get files and maybe even hints about how to use the software.

From everything I've seen, Gommert is very responsive to questions; however, as he's in the Netherlands, his vacation and holiday schedule is vastly different from ours. You really should check the website and see when he's on holiday.

Again, there's a BC250 forum at Strong Signals that can also be very helpful.
