BC250D Contrast Setting

Is there a setting for the BC250D for the LCD contrast? I just received one and the LCD display has dimmed and the numbers are no longer readable. The light works fine, but just can't read the LCD digits.

No you cannot adjust contrast on a BC250/296d or BC785/796d.

Negative.... No adjustable contrast. Washed out display as described sounds like an internal component failure.
