BC250D for Detroit/Tricounty area?

won it with the apco card on ebay but not yet paid. as i saw info about the 3600/9600 bps rates. the more i read the more confused i become.

will i be able to listen with this scanner, can it be flashed to a 9600 capable firmware.

i dont get the 3600/9600 difference.

i got a good price but should i take the negative feedback and opt out of the sale?

ps- i dont post alot but i do alot of reading but this new technology is givin me a headache.

It can't be flashed for 9600. While I am not from your area, suspect that Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS) can not be monitored on the 250. I asked for this to be moved to the MI forum where you can get better answers.
