BC296 USB to mini connector cable

:roll: Any one had any success locating a USB to mini connector cable to program your BC296D. With all the new computers eliminating RS232 ports, I prefer to have a new USB cable.

Second request: Recommendation for programming software?

Assuming you can find the cable, what will you do about drivers? USB is not directly interchangeable with RS-232.

You might want to look for a USB-serial converter which will give you a virtual serial port via USB.
