Having trouble locking out channels. I can lock them out but if I turn the scanner off and then back on the locked out channles go active again. Any suggestions? Thanks

you have to press lockout button twice until it says lockout...

BTW: You may want to put the channel on HOLD otherwise it will not allow you to press L/O twice cause it will skip the channel
The first PRESS of LOCKOUT is a TEMP L/O which goes away when you cycle power. As the other guy said a DOUBLE Press does a PERM L/O.
