BC346XT Quick Keys

My question is how do I select a quick key on my scanner to activate the talkgroups that I have assign them to. I have only one system programmed in and that is for a EDAC system. The talk groups that I'm interested in listening to are all assigned to the Quick key (1). Also is there any way to know you have activated them? Thank you

Hit function, then hit the key (e.g "2") on your keypad for the quick key (e.g. "2") you want.

This must be done while you are scanning that system. Not really an issue if there is only 1 system, but once you add a 2nd system keep in mind that you must press FUNC while the scanner is on that system (if you miss, after you press FUNC you can scroll back to the target system before hitting the number...FUNC+SCROLL scrolls through sites/systems).
