Just Recieved my bc346xt i have the basic programming down but i want to know more about the features can someone please tell me anything i need to kn ow and anything cool i can do with this new scanner

Using "CloseCall, hold the "HOLD" button and it will hold on any system only, when holding on a freqy press "E", then scroll backwards one notch and it says "new freqy" and you can program in a new freqy on the "go"....My 346XT and 396XT are two of the best scanners i have ever owned....The 396XT decodes "digital here in ILL way better than the GRE.....My Opinion....

I also recently got mine and wiped all the preloaded stuff.

I loaded my own things, in my own systems/groups/etc which is fine, and locked out all the other freq groups like public safety/marine/railroad etc....

But, after a while now of only listening to my programmed freqs I'd like to sit and sort through open freqs, there are about a hundred that are just really loud static, how can I sit and listen and perm lock out these channels while doing a full band scan on everything? Temp l/o is just that...temp
