New to me BC350 - searched and read the manual but not seeing how to program a non-stepped frequency, such as 449.080. When I press hold and the up/dwon buttons, it goes through the stepped freq.

Thanks in advance for your help!

449.080 does not fit with the UHF channel selection scheme. Your radio can do 449.0750, 449.01825, 449.0875, 449.09375, 449.1000, etc. which are all 6.25 kHz steps. If it's an older scanner it may only do 12.5 kHz steps, which would be 449.075, 449.0875, 449.1000. Point is you've got to start with a frequency that is a 25 kHz step and add from there, the addition being .00625 or .01250.

This is the first I have used a scanner. Is this a limitation of just my scanner or all scanners?
