When I leave the scanner off over night and turn it on it's fine for about 10mins max and then it will just start going crazy like it is on SQ shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh anyone know what may cause this? I have tried to plug it in different areas and still same thing......... Thanks

Have you adjusted the squelch?

Yes I did..... even turned it all the way off.... and like if I leave it off all night and turn it on in the morning its good for like 5mins and then SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHH
