I've seen and reviewed the new BC 160 & 260 DN new models and since I have already got 4 DMR & NXDN capable scanners, I've decided on the BC355N as the price is right and for around here there is lots of good analog traffic on the air, rail, and business bands to listen to and the display and sound quality are excellent!

If you want to dedicated air-rail & business band dedicated unit, I'd definitely go with this one.

I have one in the bedroom that I use to listen to my county's analog fire/EMS dispatch. For the price, it's not a bad little radio to be able to pick up analog police, fire and EMS, air, rail, CB, etc.

I use one mobile, nice and easy to use.

I installed one in my truck last month. Excellent reception for railroad, and all local police. I went with an external speaker for better audio.
