BC396d on Cincy's System?

For those who have the new radio, how do you like it? And how's it working with the hamco trs? Is it worth the money?

When trying to monitor the Hamilton County TRS System the voice transmissions are broken.

The Radio Shack Pro-96 does a better job with the voice transmissions.

If you're trying to receive Hamilton County system only

Save your money! DO NOT Buy this Radio get the Pro-96 !

Sounds pretty good after the update plus the extra features makes it pretty neat little scanner!

If you can improve the sound quality that easy on the Uniden BCD396T and have the feature for the P25 auto adjust why can't you do that for people with the Uniden BC296D or Uniden BC796D?

OR will I have to buy Uniden BCD896T? :roll:

Yes it sounds better with the Update allmost as good as
My Radio Shack PRO-96! :wink:
But compare 1st generation Digital Scanner with 1st!
Uniden BC296D -vs- Radio Shack PRO-96
When GRE comes out with their 2nd Digital Scanner
Then we can compare 2nd generation Digital Scanner :lol:

Did not say that it "works very well"

Voice is still broken at times!

In all fairness both scanners will brake up at times
fixed or mobile. On Hamco TRS system.
