Hi:

This may already have been mentioned, but a nice way to protect your display screen from scratches is to use the overlays designed for Palm Pilots. I use the Belkin brand, lay it over the screen and "very carefully" trace around the screen with a sharp knife. Peel the excess away, smooth it down and you're in business.

Just a thought...

I use the exact same thing...Works Great! I put them on my 246T and liked it so when the BCD396T came in I slapped one on there. I used an exacto (hobby) knife to CAREFULLY trim the edges. The BCD396T's had quite a few tiny bubbles in it after I put it on. I just couldn't seem to get them out but I left it anyway and after about a day or maybe a day and a half, all of the bubbles were gone and you can't tell I have anything at all on the screen! Circuit City has them from $4.00 on up. I bought a pack of 12 for like $7.99.

FYI to all ... the Apple iPod IV (4, latest model) display covers fit the 396 perfectly.

I use the the PDA overlays as well. They do work great! I would highly reccommend them to anyone who worries about scratches on the display.
