When holding on a P25 trunk system (MPSCS) the scanner will display on line 2 SID:0796h-0333
Is this a site ID?Does this number somehow relate to the site details in the radio reference data base?
Last question, is there a way to step from site to site? I can scroll radio ID's but cannot figure out how to move
to another site in scan hold mode.

0796 is the system id.
0333 is the site id.

Based on that, I can say you are listening to the Michigan Public Safety Communication System (even if you hadn't already told me that).

F+Scroll will scroll through sites, then when you hit the last site in the system it will scroll to the first site in the next system (if it is trunked, if it isn't it will just scroll to the next system).

I would also venture a guess that you were receiving the Stanton Site?

As UPMan said, the last numbers are the site ID, in this case 333 is Zone 3, Site 33. Cross reference that with the database and you see it is the Stanton site.
