1) Your BC75XLT can easily not only be hooked up but also fully controlled from your computer with my Free/Charityware Scan75 Control Program. See: Scan75 Control Program

2) The 75 series of scanners (UBC75XLT - BC75XLT - AE75H) do not support the Name Tagging of Channels/frequencies)

3) Don't know much about DSD Plus other that is says it can decode from an input audio signal a number of analogue encoded digital signals. If we accept that this is true then the next question that needs answering is what data signals are available on the frequency ranges covered by the BC75XLT?

Hopefully someone with more experience of decoding data signals can answer better. For reference the frequencies cover by the 75 scanners are below

UBC75XLT & AE75H
BC75XLT
Modulation Types
AM, FM (narrow)
AM, FM, NFM
Frequency Range 1

I'm not familiar with: p25 155.820.000 and fire 155.700.000

I'm UK based so p25 155.820.000 and fire 155.700.000 is something that I hope others will respond to.

What I do vaguely know is that P25, or Project 25, is a suite of standards developed to provide digital voice and data communication systems suited to public safety and first responders. Project 25 was initiated by the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials, or APCO.

How this works/operates and can be decoded from an analogue only scanner, such as the BC75XLT, is not in my knowledge domain.

I hope more experienced/knowledgeable members here can help you out better.
