BC785 repair

Hey Guys I have a BC785 and the power plugin needs repair. It won't stay on unless you have the cord at a certain angle and I actually haven't been able to use it for some time. Does anyone know anywhere I could take it maybe locally or mailing somewhere and possible cost?

Is it the AC adapter plug or part on the scanner that's bad? If it's the adapter you could probably pickup one fairly cheap online or a universal one at Radio Shack.

The part in the scanner needs to be replaced.

If your sure it's the radio plug-in thats at fault and not the cord, you might look at this link. http://www.uniden.com/repair/index.cfm I hope they can help you.
