Ok, let me first tell you how its setup...

Bank 1 Conventional
Bank 2 Trunking
Bank 3 Trunking

Let's say its scanning, doing ID Scan on the two trunking banks. When its scanning on Bank 1 and i decide to shut off Bank 1 i tap the number 1 key and now its just scanning Banks 2 & 3..

Problem is, how the heck do i now turn Bank 1 back on as the scanner now never shows the active bank list it just shows the Scanlist's for each of the trunking banks.

The only way i have found to do this is run ARC250, go to the virtual control, the scan tab, and then turn off the scan on the scanner, then double click on Bank 1 to turn it back on, and then turn on scan again.

How do you set the active banks on the scanner in this situation without having to use the computer??

I went through the manual a half dozen times and can't find any explanation.

Hit the period key, puts you in bank mode, turn on bank 1 and hit the period key again, puts you back where you were, Scan List Mode.

There we go!! Thanks Highpockets, that's the secret shortcut that i needed. If its in the manual i can't find it for the life of me.

I did try hitting the search key, tried everything before i posted. Hitting search just takes me to the predefined search ranges, weather, news, broadcast, etc.. Then if i hit manual or scan it just goes back to where it was when i hit search, so that doesn't work.

That period key sure does though!!
