Why would one of the aforementioned scanners be incapable of tracking the Kansas Statewide P-25 system? I am in the market for one of these and have been told these scanners are too old to track this system. Any truth to that, and if so, why? I don't have a huge radio budget, so I am looking for the most "dirt-cheap" option I can (I know, "Yeah right, there's no such thing as 'cheap' digital scanners"). Thoughts? No, I am not trying to solicit someone to sell me one, as that would be against the rules.
