Anyone know how I should program the Pro-796D to Trunk track the following system:

Waterford CT Ma/Com P25 9600Baud

Frequencies: CC854.3875, Voice/Data 858.2375,859.2375, 859.7125, 854.1375, 854.1625.

Base: 851.00625 Spacing: 0.00625 Bandwidth: 0.00625 TX Offset: -45.00000 per Pro96com.

Since the BC796 requires low channel and high channel plus spacing and offset. What would be the correct settings given the above data.

TIA,

B.K.

If you're talking about this system, you shouldn't need any base/offsets...

Waterford Public Safety Trunking System, Waterford, Connecticut - Scanner Frequencies

as that information would be carried in the control channel in a true P25 system. However, with MA/Com ??? 73 Mike

Mike,

In order to get it to work on my Pro-96/2096 I had to set it up as multi table 800 Mhz 9600 baud with a lo channel of 0 (zero) and a hi channel of 65535. offset 0 spacing 6.25. Seems to work O.K. Do not understand the proper settings for the BC796 though. As I said before the BC is looking for a lower and upper frequency and offset and spacing. It will not accept the numbers I used in the Pro96.
