bc796d now working but need attenna and software program

I have your version 1.0 software for programming my scanner and I keep getting a communication error when I try to load the frequencies and talk Id's and discriptions to the scanner can you help with and updated version of your software or tell me what I may be doing wrong. I set the baud rate to be the same on the sanner and the program. I now need an antenna and a software program that works. I can use any help I can get on advice as to what to buy or how to get a program update.

It's rather obvious, actually; he either thinks this is a forum direct to Uniden (well, UPMan does hang out here....) or a typo. In any case...

Insofar as a program goes, go to Scanner Master and get ARC250. The ad for this appears in the upper right hand corner of the home page for this site.
Very good customer support from Gommert Buysen of BuTel as well.
