Since these scanners came out before we implemented our outside beta tester program, I do not have a ready pool of people handy to perform closed beta testing. So, I'm making an open offer to anyone willing to beta test the rebanding updates for these scanners.
The firmware has passed our internal testing, but, as you are well aware of by now, testing does not always equal the performance seen with a wide variety of users in geographically dispersed conditions (which is why we have the beta program, now).
I will accept the first 10 for each model (after about 10 people, the cost to manage becomes greater than the benefit for an analog model). Email me directly with the following subject line:

You do not have to be in a rebanded area to help (but I will certainly make sure that there are several for each model that are in rebanded areas). Testing in all areas helps to ensure that we don't have any unintended consequences to non-rebanded systems.
There is no compensation for this testing (other than having access to the rebanding update a few weeks early and the general reward to the community for helping out). We don't expect any issues, as the other rebanding updates seem to be working flawlessly.
