What about pro-2051's
Will this update work on a Pro-2051? Aren't they the same scanner except LTR?

I doubt it. All it takes is one line of different code and you could brick your scanner. But if you wanna be the guinea pig by all means go ahead

This update is only for the BC898T. I have no information on (or involvement with) updates for RS scanners.

The update (to my knowledge) only adds the ability to setup rebanded frequencies. If the sites you listen to get rebanded, you will not be able to receive them unless you apply this update.
