Just got the Uniden BC95 and would like to get a better antenna.

Am not sure what kind of antenna you want,or what freqs you want to listen to,so I will cover all the bases.

For a handheld antenna I would recommend the Diamond RH77CA.

For a mobile antenna I would recommend the Larsen tri-band antenna.

I'm a nooby to all this. I live in a rural area and want to monitor the surrounding police and fire departments but the rubber antenna that came on the scanner won't pickup very well.
