The driver is not an executable file, that is, it won't install itself if you just click on it. Make sure you know the location of the uniden_usbser folder on your computer. then follow the directions given by poster tamapbaynews in post #17 in this thread.
After it loads don't be surprised if you have to restart your computer. Windows can be picky sometimes.
