i recieve half transmissions clear and half garbled.
The scanner skips from dat to lnk to p25 during a transmission.
this happens quicky. so the tranmission is chopy and incomplete

This problem i am having is not edcs but apco 25
It switches from lnk to dat to p25 rapidly on some transmissions causing garbled or chopping tranmissions. :?:
...the frequncys are saved in apco 25 format
Program it as a Motorola type II system. It's a 3600 baud APCO system (P16), not P25. (The giveaway is the "System Voice: APCO-25 Common Air Interface Exclusive" line in the database.)jimyleg said:Minnesota has a new system called "a.r.m.e.r" suposedly it's all apco 25.

Could be. The original problem sounds like a P16 system programmed as P25.Voyager said:Al42 said:Program it as a Motorola type II system. It's a 3600 baud APCO system (P16), not P25. Actually, the "System Type" is the giveaway.
BUT, it says it's a "System Type: Project 25 Standard" which means it IS P25. Is the RR database wrong?
