My wife gifted me this scanner for Christmas. My old scanner was useless since Baltimore County went to the P25 I system, so it has been a few years. I am lost, this thing is way more technical. Can anyone help me with programming? For example does the Proscan product actually program the scanner for my local
channels?
I can understand the P25 into the scanner but I lose it when i go to the database and there are now only two
primary channels and 6 alternate control channels. No clue as to what order they need to be entered and if it
you enter only the two primary ir those alternates as well.

you are a premium subscriber so get the beta version of free scan or the trial version of proscan and download the things you want from the database

Makes no difference on the order - all you need are the CC's, but no harm in loading all.

Definitely get Freescan ...
