BCD246T/Control Channels

I've programmed a System with all the control channels in a Moto Network OKWIN for different areas of the state. (Its sort of my way of letting my scanner follow me until I get my 436).

I'm noticing that some of the channels in Oklahoma City are popping up on the Jay group or the Tulsa group. The further away I get I do lose those OKC channels so I know it not really picking it up off those towers. Or is it?

Is this because they share some of the same control #'s? I've not tried to break the list down yet to see what all duplicates there are in there ye

It sounds like you have a number of sites all in one system. With the 246, you don't have the concept of sites - what you would need to do is to program each OKWin site as a separate system.

Putting everything in one system won't work because the scanner will lock onto the first control channel it finds and disregards anything else.
