Good Morning
I was trying to listen to the Monrovia FD through Verdugo Fire.
I just received a Uniden BCD325P2 Scanner and ScanPro for setup.
I've loaded all the ICI System frequencies (everything), and Talk Groups for Arcadia, Monrovia, Sierra Madre, and Pasadena
Everything seems to be working for the most part, except for verdugo fire.
I do get the main Verdugo dispatch TG#2101 (Red 1)

Monrovia and some of the Verdugo Talk Groups say "Finding Control Channel", so I have to figure the frequency isn't listed in the ICI System Frequencies I have loaded. Am I correct in assuming this?

Does anyone have additional frequencies for this set up?

Thank you all for your help in advance, I'm a newb at this

"Finding Control Channel" just means you are out of range of those transmitting sites or they are off the air.

Here's a copy of the :Easier to Read" manual.

I have that scanner. It's great!

I'm not able to get Monrovia FD at all, I'm using the RR trunked frequencies and have programmed the Verdugo green channels as well.
Either they are never busy or I dont have the correct frequencies.
Any suggestions?

Long Beach ca,
Pulse point shows them being numbered 100.....so engine 101 or Truck 101 would be Monrovia Fire ..... 200 is Glendale Fire......there last call was at 5 am go to pulse point for more info.

verdogo Fire is on a P25 system...... the 325p2 will do ok on it .....no miracles.....do a simple test on the 325p2 .....while in scan mode ....hold on any TG .....if it says cant find control channel...... its not going to work .....need to move or better your antenna.

You could also be too far away.

While it's scanning the system, you should see it stop on each control channel and display the frequency momentarily.

If it's saying "NFM" instead, you're not receiving the Control Channel and you won't receive anything.
