BCD325P2/BCD996P2 Control Channel Dump

Can anyone advise if the BCD325P2 and BCD996P2 will provide a control channel output like the 996XT & 396XT? I'm seeing the option in the "Easier to Read Manual" but no where else...so I don't know if that's for the XTs only.

I'm looking for either a custom search with the "C-Ch Only" option, or when holding on a programmed trunk systems control channel if it will send data that can be decoded in Pro96Com or UniTrunker.

Just confirmed the 325 works with Pro96Com.

Excellent, thanks Kevin. As disappointed as I've been with Uniden lately, I think I may give them one more try...this feature alone makes the radio way more resourceful than the 436/536...how the heck else are we supposed to find and identify new trunked systems.

I imagine the feature set is similar between the 325 & 996, but if anyone can confirm on the 996 too I would appreciate it.

Like the features of my 436HP, but do find myself using the 325P2 a lot because of its size. IMHO it is a step up from the 396XT in terms of P25 decoding, and it has basically the same features as the XTs we are used to using. 996P2 also has C-CH output that works fine with Unitrunker. I do like the x36HPs, but Uniden did miss the boat, so to speak, by omitting some of the great features of the previous generation.

Just for the heck of it, are you familiar with using a USB R820T dongle?

Cost is $15-20 and it works better with Unitrunker than a 996xt. Hell of a lot cheaper and you can then use the radio to listen while you review activity on a system. At this price, I found it easily a worthwhile try and Unitrunker is specifically written to run with one. See the Unitrunker site.
