Do new BCD325P2 scanners have keypads that last, or do they still fade after a year or so of use?
It would have been nice had Uniden retained the keypad quality of the 396xt. I have had mine for ten years and it has not faded at all. My two 325P2s' have faded to some degree on the keypad.

Mine are all but wiped out. I am waiting for the backlog at Uniden repair to clear before I send mine back to have the keypad replaced and an issue with the display looked at. I bought a case for the 325 and that will slow down the rubbing off from what remains.

Sheesh... Yeah, these keypads are a fail.
Bearcat Scanner has them. Less than 5 minute job to replace 'em.
I ordered a few a while back on ebay, don't see the link anymore

If it's anything like the 436, it's easy to change... It's just a molded membrane...
I wouldn't send that to Uniden for repair...
Order the part from... As trp2525 stated above... Do it yourself and save alot of buckage...

You can see the membrane here on the 436... All the electronics stays mounted to the back cover....
On the 436 just six screws to split the case apart... I would think it to be the same with the 325...

Probably pretty much the same thing...
They all appear to be the same type of membrane with the functions silk screened on...

My 436 (When I had it) was showing signs of wear...

Anyone know it a keypad for a BC125ATis any better? It looks like It would fit a BCD325P2.
Per this post by UPMan from 11-12-2018, the Uniden part number for the BC125AT keypad is LKR102616ZZ and you have to call the order in to the Uniden Parts Department. Their phone number is 1-800-297-1023.

Note that the Uniden part number for the 325P2 keypad ends in EZ while the Uniden part number for the 125AT keypad (as supplied by UPMan) ends in ZZ.
