BCD325p2 Programming Palmetto 800

After 2 years without a scanner I bought a BCD325p2. Is this going to work ok on the Palmetto 800? When I program it with Freescan do I select MOT/P25, P25 Standard, or P25 one frequency? Also I read something about RCSD encrypted. Am I going to be able to hear RCSD anymore?

According to the database,most of the system is NOT encrypted.

The Richland Co sheriff is encrypted but Columbia PD is open to monitor.

Did something change I have not heard anything from Columbia PD lately?

You should be able to monitor Columbia PD but it is location-dependent. There are many signal dead zones in and around town because the system is simulcast. The BCD 325P2 is a fine radio, but doesn't have the updated reception capabilities of the Uniden SDS scanners.
