Bcd325p2 tg alpha tags

My scanner was working fine but sometime in the last few days the TG ID's and the alpha tags assigned to the TG's won't show up sometimes, however sometimes they will. If the Alpha tag don't show up it's just the ID which I have programmed. Also some of the TG ID's I have blocked will now show up with encrypted, I have they locked out because of that. Can anyone tell me what might be going on?

Sounds like you might be in search mode rather than scan mode.

Scan only plays those talkgroups you have programmed and not locked out.

Search plays any active talkgroup on the system whether you have it programmed or not, as long as it is not locked out. If you don't have it programmed, only the talkgroup id will show.

If the system is phase 2, encrypted transmissions come through as encrypted noise.

I found the issue and corrected it. That was not the issue but I did think of that.
