As many of you are aware of the programming difficulties I'm having using Freescan with my BCD396T, would programming a BCD325P2 be any easier?

They are basically the same except the BCD396T doesn't do multiple sites which is the biggest problem. You have to create a separate system for each site.
The BCD325P2 does have Phase II, but doesn't have the battery capacity and performs poorly on conventional frequencies.

Its almost the same programming other then the multiple sites which was mentioned
Also the 396T does not do patch takgroups, so either the 396t must be run in search mode or know what takgroups you need
Gymbag is a premium member so he can download into freescan or arc direct from RR
If programming is still a problem one of the homepatrol units would be better HP-1 436HP etc (enter a postal code and it scans)
