There are no "parts". You purchase the upgrades you want on the MyUniden site where you register the scanner. After you make the purchase, you get a key number for each upgrade purchased. You then enter those keys into the scanner through the menu. (Make sure you have the latest firmware.) The keys are specific to the scanner for the chosen mode you are adding. A key for one scanner will not validate in a different scanner.

If you have the latest version, the upgrades already reside in the firmware of your scanner. You need to purchase a separate key to enable each of the 3 upgrades available. Unless you have an EDACS ProVoice digital system you want to monitor, the ProVoice upgrade would be a waste of money. ProVoice is no longer supported and users are changing to other types of systems, mostly P25.
