On the BCD396T, is there a way to add multiple trunking groups to one system?

no each system is just that one system. you can have more than one system with the same quick key though.

otherwise i don't completely understand the question.

Yeah, I think you answered the question. I would be nice to be able to have multiple trunks in one system for organization purposes though :)

No, the 396 canno9t do multisite trunking, the 996 can however.

The BCT15/Mobile can also do it and it is very nice to have.

If you are asking whether you can have multiple trunked sites (i.e. sets of frequencies) all be associated with the same set of channels (i.e. sets of Talk Group ID's) then no.

If you are asking whether you can have multiple different trunked systems be grouped together, then yes. You would assign them all to the same SQK.
