On a trunked system, does ID Search mode show alpha tags for entered ID's and just the TGID for any not setup? In other words, does ID Search catch ALL activity in the system while ID Scan only stops for ID's that are present?

ID SEARCH will catch all activity. ID SCAN will stop only at those you programmed in the radio.

If you want the alpa tag to show during a transmission, press func +5 as shown on pg 48 of the manual.

To do this press your hold button and scroll through until you get to your programmed ID's. When you see your first TGID press and hold function then hit 5. It should show whatever alpha tag you programmed in the radio.

Yes, if the tag is entered for that ID, it will show the tag.

ID Search will stop and any TG unless you've locked it out.
