Recently repurchased my BCD396t from Communication Eletronics and a e-mail to me, so obviously Uniden is working on the silk screen issue as we speak and suppliers aren't still shipping the scanners out as some people have stated.
This is a courtesy e-mail to let you know that your BCD396T
scanner you ordered is currently on backorder from the Uniden factory
inChina and is expected at our Emergency Operations Center approximately September 10, 2005.At this time, Uniden is making some physical improvements to the BCD396Tscanner.
