I wouldn't think so, as it isn't a Radio Shack product.

most of the uniden products are available thru rsu (radio shack unlimited)
and also on the webcite www,radioshack.com.

in time, i am sure radio shack will have a version of this scanner mabufactured to their specs while losing some of the uniden goodies and adding the "program key".

being in the same state, radio shack and uniden have a good relationship.

Radio Shack only sells Uniden units that do not compete with their scanners.

Radio Shack DOES sell uniden scanners, BTW, for those who brought up that it's not a RS unit. They sold the BC250D before they had the PRO-96 to sell for digital systems.

Technically, there are no Radio Shack scanners - they resell units made by either Uniden or GRE.

Actually, Radio Shack's version (PRO-2051) of the Uniden (BCT8), is a big improvement on the Uniden version. The PRO-2051 has 1,000 channels, vs only 250 for the BCT8. The PRO-2051 also has Signal Stalker, and dedicated SkyWarn button.

No - RS does not sell Uniden label scanners that compete with RS label products. For example, when the PRO-96 came out, RS stopped selling the BC250D.
