I have a BCD396T and the computer connector on the scanner broke off. I know I can probably send it into Uniden, but I was wondering how much it would cost to repair. Would love the input!

You can call Uniden Repair at 1-800-235-3874 and they can tell you.Hope this helps answer your question.

I know that... I was wondering about if anyone had similar problems and what a cost would be.
If you have a local Uniden Dealer in your area they may do repairs and be may able to fix it for less than sending in to Uniden for repairs.

lafd55,The only way you will know what Uniden will charge you is to call them. Also when the work is done Uniden gives you a 90 day warranty on the work. It the work they do fails during that 90 days they will fix it for FREE. If you want to job done right I would let Uniden fix it and do not trust anyone else.If you do let someone work on the radio other than Uniden. This will void your warranty if you have one on the unit that needs to be repaired. I have had a lot of Uniden items repaired and I am very happy with the repaired items when they came back to me.
