Hello everybody,

I just got and programed one of these units with the UASI software. I listen to both conventional and trunking at the same time.

Ive noticed that even though I have the priority shut off, when I hold on a specific channel the transmission keeps getting interupted as if the scanner is checking the priority channels and comming back to the channel im holding on.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this?

Thanks

There are three things that will cause interuptions:
Priority Scan
Close Call
Weather Alert.
If you are positive Priority is off, then check the other two.

Frustrating...

I got my 396-T a few months ago and haven't spent much time with it. But, I can't wait to get it going! The small amount of time I have spent with it, I too, get the same "cut out" when I am trying to listen. It's frustrating!

Yes. Turn it off and the interruptions will stop.
