Hello,

I have programmed this unit with ARC396Pro, and when I go to Menu>Program System everything I programmed shows up but with some of them unlocking them does nothing. Also, when I hold Func and turn the select dial, only 5% of my programmed systems show up and the rest do not.

The ones that show up when turning the select dial are fine, the rest will not activate no matter what I do.

I've done a master reset but that didn't help. They are a mixed bag of conventional, Mot 800MHz, Mot VHF, and LTR systems.

I noticed that after the master reset and reprogramming it's the same systems that don't show up every time, so I'm thinking it's a programming error.

Any suggestions?

Try downloading the contents of your radio using the far better BCTool or Freescan software packages and see if anything is obvious from those.

Make sure you didn't lock out all the frequencies and/or forget to program in talkgroups on trunked systems and make sure you enabled the quickkey.

I'm really not too clear on the problem description. Perhaps you could "zip" all the butel data files you are programming into the scanner into one file, then post them to the group. Someone might be able to try looking directly at your programming (and loading it into their scanner) to see what is wrong. Unfortunately, I don't use ARC so won't be able to check it myself.

It seems that all my Butel systems have been corrupted... everything that I had is all messed up... The group names on the left don't match the names at the top, and everything is blank...
damn...

What might have caused this? I'm very careful to always save everything before closing.
